HENRY RODRIGUEZ
This fine art print created by Henry Rodríguez and dedicated to his sister Bibi on her 24th birthday belongs to the first collection of portraits of Hidden Dances Visual Poetry by Henry Rodríguez.
The dark yet saturated background creates a dreamlike landscape. Each deconstructed piece of the canvas, represented by solid, hasty, and rough elements, such as the city of New York, followed by concrete, bricks, and fences, intersects with the delicacy of a young woman whose soul is represented by fragrant, fragile, and vibrantly colored flowers. The soul is functioning as the fascia of the whole composition by interconnecting simultaneously all the walls and layers of the very collage.
Hidden Dances Visual Poetry by Henry Rodríguez is an original initiative that aims to keep promoting the beauty of art, the art of collage, poetry and choreography, spanning a diversity of dance styles such as classical ballet, Spanish dances, afroCuban folklore, modern dance and contemporary, etc. This is a work of art that moves and dances on its own. Each character portrayed possesses a unique and special narrative. The main purpose of these portraits is to create real kinaesthetic interactions with the viewers, provoking in them the desire to unravel the hidden dances. Every piece is made following two processes, firstly handmade and finally digitalised. Most of the orignal works have a print out copy and an NFT version. Observe them, dance them and enjoy them.
Printed on two different high-quality art paper with a matt, uncoated finish and lightly textured surface, that ensures a rich and vibrant display of colours.
Printed in Amsterdam.
Fits standard-sized frames. The frame is not included.
